Holle is not only one of the biggest and most popular European baby formula companies, but it is also one of the originals. Founded in 1933 in Switzerland, Holle has been around for nearly 100 years, and has consistently grown its reputation for producing high-quality, organic, biodynamic baby formulas using sustainable farming and manufacturing processes.
We spoke with an international food sustainability expert and a developmental nutritionist to gather their insights into Holle and its popular line of infant formulas. We tested the formula on three infants, analyzed the ingredients and nutritional contents relative to United States feeding recommendations (FDA and USDA), and reached some conclusions regarding the use of Holle Bio formulas.
